What are the common mistakes people making during link building? Here I found some common mistakes people do.

• The most common mistakes I see is people concentration on low quality links (submitting to low page rank web directories in wrong categories, buy links from bad link selling portals, articles sites etc ).
• People do link farming. Link farm also affected your site. and Doing link building with relevant site is very important
• Linking on Bih size Images or banners without Alter Tags and Title Tags
• Linking on long text.
• Linking on “Click Here”, “About Us”, “View My Site”, “Contact Me” these kind of anchors are not suitable.

Actually you are correct. I also made the same mistakes when i started SEO. but now the condition is much better...

Absolutely Right!Specially Directory submission in wrong category is wastage of time

In link building first we have to take care in selecting in category. If you submit in wrong category then the directory never accept our site. I want some high page rank directories can any one provide me please?

Its true. Except on blog commenting (wherein you must use a name instead of your KW), linking using your targeted KW help a lot in have a good SERP.
