yes it's correct off page optimization is nothing but we don't disturb our site. To get keyword in top position we do on page and off page.. directories submissions, articles postings, PR postings, blog submissions, link exchange, comments postings, social bookmarking, social networking, classifieds submissions, forum postings this all comes under off page optimization..

It simply process of link building, to getting back link from good pr site with desired anchor text that what i have little idea about offpage optimization part.
