Hello, thanks for posting it up and yes SmartPagerank.com is a great tool especially the backlink checker with visible PR. I've been using this one for quite a while.
A few other good online tools are:

This checks a ton of stuff, we are working on adding even more. You can also generate a .pdf report of the results.

This one simply checks if a domains PR is valid or not.
http://www.digpagerank.com
This one checks 100's of Google datacenters to get your pagerank. It's very useful to see if a pagerank update is in progress and to get your new PR values before it's exported to the toolbar. It also checks if the PR is valid or not.
http://www.domain-pop.com
This displays your backlinks and organises them by their PR. Also tells you how many different IP's and domains your backlinks are from.

CheckPagerank shows a sites PR, if it's valid and also backlinks in the major Search Engines along with domain age and any DMOZ listings.
I've been meaning to do a SEO and Domain Tools thread, so thanks for starting one off. I'll update this with some more however these are a few of my favourites off the top of my head.
