Choosing the right keywords to target and rank for is probably one of, if not the most important element of Search Engine Optimization.

You could spend countless hours, not to mention money achieving a page one placement only to find nobody is searching for your keywords resulting in almost no traffic!

So, keyword selection is a critical process and as you can see if it's not done correctly can result in lost time and earnings. On the other hand, correctly identifying keywords with a large search volume can result in 1,000s of unique hits daily and be very rewarding.

What we have done is built a Keyword Suggestion tool, that uses Overture data on search volumes to take the guesswork out of choosing the keywords you should be targeting.

Simply enter up to 4 keywords, and our tool will compile a list along with the estimated monthly search volume for each term and put it all in a list for you from highest to lowest.

For instance, plugging in SEO shows:

46777 seo
11373 seo services
9814 dw230 seo
9084 company seo
6450 seo tool
5071 engine optimization search seo
4527 consultant michigan seo
4418 business driven michigan seo technology
4257 optimization seo

And so on down the list, this is only the top 10. It shows there are roughly 46,777 searches per month for the term "SEO", and way further down the list it shows just 787 for "SEO Resource".

As you can see, by targeting one term as apposed to another can results in 1,000s more visitors.

Where did you get the traffic of keywords? Because in keyword discovery seo services has only 758 traffic.

It is not just the search volume, you also have to determine your competitors....

The tool was running off Overture data, however the tool no longer works. One day when i get more time i will modify the tool to use the search volume from Google Adwords tool which is much better.

well google adwords and word tracker can be the good tools but its not only about the searches its too about the competers having with those keywords...sooooooooooo.....
