My name is Frank and I have just optimized my website for search engines. I just want to know - is there any effect of recent Google algorithm change on my site. I am not sure whether my site get good rankings or vanish from SERPs.

If you do a solid link build and a bulletproof SEO, your website's SERPs will just change a little but if you're website doesn't appear in SERPs just do link build more and surely it will be back in no time.
