I just want to ask why so many people now a days using twitter and facebook whats the reason behind this because i have joined and don't know whats its main aim to join this social networking site is there any special features we get or just there are so many member are there that's why we have to join.

I don't see special features on Twitter for effective promotion. However, there are great features like Facebook Fan Pages and Groups on Facebook to promote your business. Facebook Fan Page is also a great way to interact with your customers.
