Yes, it's true. Blog commenting is good
IF the link you submitted is
dofollow. If it's a
Nofollow, it's also good, however,
minus the PR juice and the authority that should've been pass to your site.
My opinion in putting a your keyword on the name box, It looks too spammy. Sorry to say. More webmaster will agree with me if you know what I mean.

It depends if that link you provided got approved and be live. It also depends on the visitors that click the link that you submitted,
if they click it.

Like I said, it depends on the visitors that click your link.
Blog commenting nowadays can be rough at the ends. Some webmasters can nofollow your link if it looks spammy. If you want to have good quality links, you should also provide good quality answers.
