Hello,
I have a 3 months old dating site. I transfer from an 18 months old dating site to this site.
Should I use htaccess 301 to redirect from the old site to this new site?
or
Should I create a link from the old site so users can click on it to go to the new site?
What method is better?

if you have a new website you cannot make a majic on google you need to wait few days before you site get index. If you will do link building, sidewide etc. it will be dangerous to your site to get sandbox by google.

They said Google sandbox is a myth, You can try social bookmarking sites it can help your site to get index by google faster than the usual and yes you must redirect your old site to the new one..

first do search engine submission and submit your site in to Digg and promote posting on social networking site like twitter and Facebook...
